Ralf Taupmann
Ralf Eric Taupmann April 2, 1936 - February 8, 2020 Born in Riga, Latvia Ralf spent his early years in war-torn Germany during World War II before immigrating to the United States in 1952. After graduating from Nyack HS, he joined the US Army Medical Corps in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He received a BA in biology in 1964 from St. Mary's University, and his MD at the University of Texas in 1967. After Radiology Residency he moved to Edmond, OK in 1972 to become a member of Radiology Associates, Oklahoma City. He retired in 2001, but that did not last long. He returned to part time work, travelling to many Oklohoma cities. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann, his son Jeff, his daughter Erika, and his sister Heidi Taupmann Lounsbury.
