Mathsen, Roberta
Roberta Mathsen, 76, of Airmont, passed away on Friday,
October 25th. Roberta is survived by her loving husband,
Nils Mathsen; mother, Consuella Pinkus; brother, Alan
Frae and his wife Ruby; son, Alan; daughter, Marian
Hawryluk and her husband Rich and grandchildren, Matthew
and Megan.
She was a former 50 year resident of Nyack
and worked for many years at Orange and Rockland Utilities
in Spring Valley and previously at Nyack Hospital. Roberta
was a graduate of Nyack High School and Wood Secretarial
school. She was a member of the Daughters of the American
Revolution, Shatemuc Lodge and Orangetown Fire Company
Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
on Tuesday, October 29th at the Hannemann Funeral Home,
88 South Broadway, Nyack, NY. Funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30th at Grace
Episcopal Church, 130 1st Avenue, Nyack, NY.
