| Marriage and Family Highlights - In 1957 I married Robert Shorter.
We moved to Congers, NY, where we raised four daughters. I usually spend
my summers in Rockland where I still have two daughters living. I have one
daughter in Georgia and one in Florida.
Homemaker and/or Career Highlights - After graduation I worked as a teller at Marine Midland Bank in Nyack for several years. Then I was a stay-at-home Mom. Bob retired from the Orangetown Police Department. In 1988 we moved to Florida. Travel/Vacation Highlights - I enjoy traveling - my two most memorable trips were to Germany and Israel. Hobbies/Sports - I make porcelain dolls, and spend most of my free time quilting. Achievements/Awards/Outstanding Events - We raised four wonderful daughters and have seven grandchildren. I attended the birth of my last granddaughter. Anything else that you may want to say - I have many wonderful memories of my years in NHS. I look forward to attending our 50th reunion, if at all possible. I am unable to attend this one due to family functions. My very best wishes to everyone.
