College Highlights - Attended Columbia University

Military Highlights - Served as an enlisted man in the Air Force for four years after high school.

Marriage and Family Highlights - I am divorced and father of one son, Charles, 39, a freelance magazine photographer in New York. For past 10 years I've lived in a committed relationship with Karen Brown.

Career Highlights - I am the travel editor for New Mobility magazine, a national publication for people with disabilities. I also contribute articles on travel and other subjects to many different publications.

Before I was disabled by Guillain-Barré syndrome, a neurological disorder, and began using a wheelchair, I was the editor of the Texaco Star, the company's shareholder publication.

Prior to that I had been a general assignment reporter in New York City for the World-Telegram & Sun and the World Journal Tribune. Earlier, I was a reporter for several suburban papers, and in the very early 1960s edited the (Rockland) County Citizen, a weekly.

Travel/Vacation Highlights - I have traveled extensively.

Hobbies/Sports - I am a New York Yankees fan.

Civic Activities - I am the President of the Piermont Civic Association and very active in village affairs.
