| Marriage and Family Highlights - I married my husband Bill Conklin
in July of 1956. We have three children, two daughters and one son, and five
grandchildren. We moved from New York in 1972 to Florida. My husband was
Assistant Chief in the Hillcrest Fire Company and I was in the Ladies Auxiliary,
when we moved. We enjoyed being a part of the Fire Company. Bill is now a
life member. We lived in Florida for fourteen years and then moved to Tennessee
where we now live. We are both retired and are enjoying it.
Travel/Vacation Highlights - We have traveled all over and love it. All our vacations were just great, one better than the other. Hobbies/Sports - I love to make crafts and tend to my flower gardens. We are both great bird watchers. And, of course, I am a great fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball teams. Civic/Church/Political Activities - I attend Holy Name Church in Pugeon Forge.
Anything else that you may want to say - We were just in New York
for a vacation and cannot come back, unfortunately, for the reunion. I still
have two sisters and a brother living in New York. Now that you have our
address, perhaps we can plan to make the next one. |
