From the RC Journal News. Thursday, Feb.6, 2003 NEWMAN, JOSEPH H. - Joseph H. Newman, son of the late Joseph and Bertha Newman of Upper Nyack and PA has passed away on January 22, 2003. He was a long time resident of Upper Nyack and W. Nyack; recently residing in Palm Coast, FL. He retired as an Electrical Technician from O & R Utilities. A friendly man, always leaving a great impression on people's lives with his laughter, jokes and good deeds. He was always available with a helping hand when needed. He is survived by a loving family, wife Carol and three daughters, Christine Borer of Emerson, NJ, Catherine Benedetto of Cary, NC and Susan O'Connor of Nanuet, NY and six lovely grandchildren. A Mass at St. Anthony's will be held on Friday, February 7th at 11 AM followed by Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack.
