Janet Wanamaker Orbine Janet Wanamaker Orbine, 80, of South Canaan, PA passed away on Friday February 9, after a long illness. She formerly resided in Nyack and Pearl River, NY, and Middlebush, Basking Ridge and Bedminster, NJ. Janet is survived by her husband, Stephen Orbine and her sons Stephen and his wife Susan; James and his wife Doris; William; and daughter Laura; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy Pye Wanamaker and Larry Wanamaker of Sebring, FL and Nyack, NY. Janet was a longtime advocate for animals and gave a loving home to many dogs and cats from shelters. Janet was also a horse owner and trainer and was a long time Certified Instructor at, the County owned, Lord Stirling Stables in Basking Ridge, NJ. She was a founding member of Friends of Lord Stirling Stable, a group that brought the facility from underutilized to its highly popular status of today. Services private.
