Frederic Eugene Fenton
1937 - 2023
On July 29th, 2023 Frederic Eugene Fenton passed away peacefully, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Frederic Eugene and sisters Sr. Miriam Eugene and Julia. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Elizabeth; daughter Jeanne and her husband Matthew; sons Timothy and his wife Gina, and Christopher and his wife Jennifer; sisters Jeanmarie, Catherine, Rosemary, and Mary Ellen; brothers David, Charles and Gerald. In addition, Frederic had six grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Jack, Derek, Grace and Joseph along with many nieces and nephews.
Fred was a proud St. Bonaventure’s University graduate. He had a passion for gardening, golfing, telling “dad jokes” and watching the New York Giants.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Ann's RC Church in Nyack. Interment will take place on Friday at St. Joseph's Cemetewry in Rileyville, PA In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association.
