Military Highlights - Served six months active service in the Army and 5 years National Guard. Honorably Discharged Sergeant First Class. Marriage and Family Highlights - My wife Pat and I met at Oswego State. She passed away in April of 2003. We have three children and six grandchildren. Career Highlights - Industrial Arts Teacher at Haverstraw High School (9 years). Guidance Counselor/Coordinator, North Rockland High School (24 years). Retired in August 1992. Worked for Oswego State University as an Area Admission Counselor in the Lower Hudson Valley (8 years). Retired for good in May 2000. Civic Activities - 40 year member and past President of the New City Fire Engine Company # 1. Served as Commissioner/Secretary of the New City Fire District. Member of the Board of Directors of the Oswego Alumni Association. Elks Lodge # 2753, Bonita Springs, Florida, and serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Anything else that you may want to say - I plan on seeing everyone at the 50th reunion. I spend 9 1/2 months at my Bonita Beach, Florida condo, and 2 1/2 months in a garage apartment in Montgomery, NY, on my son's property. |
