Update2015
Since our last reunion, Firth has published a number of articles and chapters in books and also a new book of her own: New Netherland in a Nutshell: A Concise History of the Dutch Colony in North America, commissioned by and published by the New Netherland Institute in Albany. She and Carl have moved from their wonderful house in Montclair after 48 years to a condo in neighboring Verona, one zip code away. It will be soooo good not to have to deal anymore with the endless problems of house and gardens. Our daughter Lydia married Steve Connelly in Mill Valley, CA, in May, and we thus happily acquired two step-grandsons, making our total five, four boys and a girl. Firth weathered a nasty bout of cancer in 2013, but surgery fixed it. Carl is working on selling his company. And then it’s party time! Hope to see everyone at our 60th!

School/College Highlights - Syracuse University, B.A., and NYU Graduate School of Business (no degree). (It's hard to believe it's been 45 years since Fred Fenton buzzed Mr. Ritt at graduation. Was that the beginning of the breakdown of society?)

Military Highlights - Seven years in U.S. Marines, four on active duty, three in the Reserve. Honorably discharged a Captain. Duty in California and the Far East. Currently brainwashing my grandsons about the USMC!

Marriage and Family Highlights - Firth and I will have been married for 35 years in February 2001. (I'm still trying to figure her out.)

Career Highlights - Currently president and owner of Cardinal Components, Inc. See cardinalxtal.com on the web for details. Business is exciting, rewarding, and just plain fun, and I have no plans for retirement.

Update 2005
Firth reports that Carl's company's invention, the MIPO, won a second Product-of the-Year Award in 2002 from Electronic Products Magazine. (His invention FIPO won it in 2000.)

Civic/Church/Political Activities - .Active in Union Congregational Church (U.C.C.). Served as Personnel chair and currently am Treasurer. Previously served as a Trustee of Lancaster Theological Seminary. Life member Syracuse University Varsity Club and S.U. Rowing Association. Formerly Vice-Chair of New Jersey sister-state committee with Zheziang and Hubei provinces in China.

Anything at all that you may want to say - As for the rest, see Firth's highlights. We both look forward to the 45th!
