Marriage and Family Highlights - I married Bob Beresheim (Class of 53) in Nov '56. Bob and I have just celebrated 44 yrs. of marriage. We have 4 great kids: Gary Keith 43, Eric Brian 41, Cindy Lynn 38, and Bonnie Anne 30. At the moment we have 5 grandkids - 3 boys and 2 girls - from 2 years to 13 years.

Homemaker and/or Career Highlights - I worked as a clerk in Lederle Labs from June 1955 until September 1957 when my career was traded in for a position as full time mom. My husband, Bob was an Industrial Engineer and Engineering Manager. On the side, he and I restored many "Olde" houses both in Rockland County, upstate New York, and in sunny Florida. The "Beresheim Special" houses numbered about 15. The oldest was over 300 years (oldest house in Valley Cottage), and as large as 10,000 sq. ft. We did everything ourselves from slate roofs, heating, air, jacking up houses and cabling barns. We should have kept notes and taken more photos, but we were always too busy. We did the country gentlemen thing - with retired farms, raising 8 horses, cows, chickens, ducks, and living off the land. In 1975 we traded the northern climate for the southern and have called Florida home ever since.

Hobbies/Sports - We also love traveling. We have camped up and down the eastern coast and also love cruising to the Caribbean and Mexico. We do a lot of fishing and antiquing too. My husband is finally retiring the end of this year and we hope to take off and do more traveling in our little motor home. Especially since our youngest lives in Colorado Springs and Bob can't wait to get more of those trout.

Anything else you would like to say - Bob and I have really enjoyed our simple way of life, our family, and each other. We have enjoyed the visits of many friends, and classmates in years since we left Rockland County, and we look forward to many more happy visits.

The six years we all spent at Nyack High School was only 1/10th of our lives chronologically - but it was such fun and filled with good memories that it still seems like half of our life!

You'all have fun at the reunion and take home many more good memories!
